Monthly Reports

2016

From the Epsom Fire Department

October is Fire Prevention Month

We encourage all parents to implement and review their fire escape plans with their children and to talk about fire safety with them.

PLEASE Remember to:        Change your smoke and carbon dioxide batteries.

Make sure your chimney is cleaned.

          AND

            Service your heating system annually.

Also be prepared this winter by making sure pathways, driveways, and all exits are cleared of snow and ice.

We are also asking community members to adopt a hydrant near their home to keep the fire hydrants clear of snow making them accessible for us.

And for the last request.

Make sure your property is numbered in a manner easily identified and visible from the street for emergency responders.

THANK YOU

Epsom Residents,
The Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission works closely with the Town with our Master Plan, Economic Development and Transportation programs.
This is the year to update the biennial transportation improvement program.
It’s never too late to get started with planning our future economy!
The plans for improvements are reviewed every two years. There is a great deal of competition for limited funds. The CNHRPC with NHDOT will work together to address two critical aspects of the transportation network. One is the “preservation of existing transportation assets” and the other one is “improving safety deficiencies”.
If we would like to nominate a new project this year, we can notify CNHRPC and they will assist us in the planning!
Our current transportation need would be Route 4 access – especially left hand turns for safety and for encouraging economic development.
We are looking for your input. Please contact the Town Office at 736-9002 or Selectman Chris Bowes directly at 1-443-465-0557 and let us know your ideas.

Dear Epsom Volunteers:

The Town of Epsom Selectmen is seeking volunteers to create an Economic Development Team.

In the past we have had several members volunteer for this activity and we are grateful for their time and experience!

We are now starting up again to encourage some economic growth in our Town, especially with some potential of water to be available near the Circle.

We need your expertise, time and effort to help our Town grow in the right direction.

Please consider this opportunity and contact the Town Office for more information.

Thank You!

Webster Park will closed for logging and clean up until further notice.
